NZ Underground Passages

Another ongoing project.  Caving epitomizes the thing I love most about exploring – discovering something completely new.  You cant see passages, underground waterfalls, crystal pools, or massive underground rifts from satellite or your phone at home.  You have to go there to discover it.

More then that, when your inside a cave, you are very cut off from the outside world.  No reception, no sunlight.  indeed, if your group is to go around a corner from where you are, give it a few seconds, and if you were to shout out to each other – no one would hear each other.

Sounds scary, but its full of such hidden beauty that only those who are willing to brave all the obstacles to get to that beauty will ever see it.
