The Coffin Club, established in Rotorua, NZ, is a club were elderly can come together to embrace death with a different viewpoint – one of togetherness, memories, and happyness.
Every wednesday they come together, not just to keep eachother company, but to help build their own coffin.
Many are practical, stating that coffins are just ridiculously expensive. For others its the joy of puting the things they love most, or the memories they love most, on their coffin. Making into something they are not afraid of, but full of the life they love.
